April's training - Preventing Sprains & Strains!
COARC is committed to having a safe work environment. In order to have a safe work environment we must all adhere to the following guidelines;
Every individual will be trained to perform work safely. Should an individual feel inadequately trained to perform a certain procedure, he or she will immediately seek clarification with his or her supervisor.
Maintaining a safe and healthful work environment is not just a statement; it is a high priority and must be a part of every work process.
It is everyone's job to spot hazards and to correct or report them in a timely manner. Specifically, when an unsafe condition is identified, the first priority is to take measures to prevent a potential injury that could arise as a result of the unsafe condition. Once injury prevention measures have been taken, employees are to notify a supervisor and program manager of the unsafe condition.
Every work-related accident must be reported using a staff injury report form within 24 hours of the incident.
As a condition of employment, each employee must work consistently in a safe manner that is in alignment with COARC policies and procedures.
