Job Title: Habilitation Counselor
Program: Day Habilitation
Location: Hudson
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Daytime Hours
Status: Para-professional
Minimum Starting Salary: $8.74 per hour plus our exceptional benefits package!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the provision of services and training for participants in the Day Habilitation Program. Document service activities. Provide personal care, including toileting assistance, to adults. Maintain daily data, monthly progress reports, and other special reports that may be required. May include assistance to participants during bus transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED required plus six months of experience with MR/DD population. Must have the ability to be certified in Standard First Aid, CPR, and SCIP. Valid NYS driver's license required. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds approximately twenty times per day.
