Location: Hudson, NY - United States
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Schedule: 37.5 paid hours. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, plan and implement the classroom program for children in the preschool special education program as stated in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) or as needed upon request of the program management staff; provide consultation to parents, other program staff and others as needed to ensure that the needs of the children are being met and that the goals/objectives of the IEP are understood by all the relevant parties. Provide oversight, training and performance review for assigned staff; responsible for timekeeping approvals and staff requests for exception time; assigned staff includes four or five direct staff and performance review only for one to three substitute staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a field related to Special Education required; One or more years of experience working with preschool special education children preferred. NYSED Special Education Certification required; Valid Driver's license required; ability to become Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR required.
